We went for a walk just down the street from one of the oldest palaces in Seoul (Gyeongbokgung Palace (경복궁))

when we happened upon a gorgeous waterfall and river in the middle of a busy free way. While walking along its 600 year old bridge, Lino, Harry and Wonsong told Ben and I about some of the history of this wildly successful transformation project. Apparently the water feeds from the mountains that can't be seen in the background and was part of a project to bring nature back as part of culture. TreeHugger has a wonderful article here!
